***We will be contacting coaches/players and updating our webpage with dates and times in mid April***
Important Information:
- Games/Practices – Teams will play once a week for an hour. The first 30 minutes of their time will be spent practising with the coach and the second 30 minutes will be a game against an opposing team.
- Playing Fields – Field locations will stay the same every week. Please follow your schedule to determine where your team is playing. Field diagrams will be provided to coaches and on our webpage
- Children’s Fitness Tax Credit – Please retain your receipt from registration for income tax purposes. No additional receipts can or will be issued.
- T-shirts – Please dress your child in the color coded team T-shirt provided. We highly encourage you to put your child’s name on their T-shirt. This self-esteem booster also identifies your child to the coaches and other parents. Children love to be cheered on by name.
- Team pictures – Kindersports Soccer/T-Ball team pictures will be taken by volunteers at the field locations on game nights. Each child will be presented a 5x7 team picture at the last game.
- Medals – Medals will be distributed at the last game by your team coach. If you are unable to attend the last game please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medal and picture from the coach.
- Cancellations – If weather does not allow for safe playing conditions the coordinators will notify the coaches if the games are to be cancelled. The coaches will then contact their individual players.
- Refreshments – With the growing concern of individual allergies, we ask individual players’ parents to bring water and/or a snack for their child to each practise/game if required. Team snacks will not be provided or expected this year.
- Garbage/Bathrooms – Please make every effort to keep the playing fields clean at the end of the evening. Your cooperation is appreciated. There are NO bathrooms on site.
Parent Participation:
Parental involvement is essential to the success of this league. We simply could not operate without you. There are many ways that you can be involved and your participation is welcomed!
- Consider Coaching – experience not necessaryJ
- On the field
- Soccer – Surround the field so you can support your team on all sides and help keep the ball in play. Ask the coach how you can be of assistance during practises and games
- T-Ball – Help the players in the outfield, run the bases and keep the kids going the right direction, keeping the players in line to bat and behind the safe zone. Ask the coach how you can be of assistance during practises and games.
- Be the cheering section – for all the children. This is a non-competitive league and we do not keep score, so ensure that you are encouraging and cheering for all of the players.
