We need you to help us by volunteering to fill the following positions:
- Registration Co-ordinator
- Soccer Co-ordinator (2)
- Softball Co-ordinator
- Flag Football Co-ordinator
- Rink Co-ordinator
- Citizen's Patrol Director
- Social Activities Co-ordinator
- Adult Programs Co-ordinator (shared position)
- Soccer Equipment Manager

Job Descriptions:
Registration Co-ordinator
- Maintain a list of current members
- Sell memberships
- Attend registration and social nights
- Recruit additional help for the registration night in order to sell memberships (2-3 extra people)
- Assist the treasurer in collecting cash at the registration night and in distributing the forms (after payment received) to the people responsible for the activities
- Order membership cards and registration forms when the stock is low
- Attend EACCA social functions
- Attend monthly EACCA executive meetings
- Add up all cash and cheques received on registration night
- Sign the deposit book after deposits are made
Soccer Coordinators (2 required)
- Attend all EACCA board meetings
- Recuit age-group co-ordinators and other volunteers
- Attend registration nights in September and February and organize registrations received.
- Assist age-group co-ordinators to recruit coaches.
- Assist age-group co-ordinators to develop team rosters
- Liaise with Saskatoon Youth Soccer
- Liaise with other community associations to ensure that all registrants are placed on appropriate teams
- Distribute rosters and equipment to coaches
- Determine equipment needs with the assistance of the Soccer Equipment manager, and formulate a budget for both indoor and outdoor seasons for approval of the EACCA board.
Knowledge of Excel would be beneficial.
Time committment is intense prior to the spring soccer season, but is moderate at other times of the year.
Softball/Blastball Coordinator
This position is busiest from March - April. The season starts early May and ends late June. The coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Registration: must attend the spring (Feb) registration nights, take registrations, create teams, find a coach for each team.
- Meetings: attend TWO(Jan/June) Hustler Zone coordinator meetings, submit team fees to SMSL(Saskatoon Minor Softball League) early April, and attend monthly EACCA meetings.
- Equipment/Uniforms: make sure equipment is up to date (replace if needed), distribute to coaches and ensure all equipment is returned, stored and labelled correctly in EACCA equipment room.
- Advertising: submit information on the Erindale/Arbor Creek website and newsletter about upcoming registrations.
- Budget: Create a yearly budget.
Flag Football Coordinator
This position requires the coordination of two football seasons: Fall and Spring. The fall season starts in early September and ends in mid-October. The spring season starts in early May and finishes at the end of June. Saskatoon Minor Football is responsible for reserving all fields and for developing the schedule.
The coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Registration: must attend the fall (August) and Spring (February) registration nights & accept registrations.
- Create teams and identify coaches for each team (this is not a challenge for football).
- Acts as a liaison with Saskatoon Minor Football.
- Attends montly EACCA meetings.
- Manages equipment and uniforms (replace quipment as required), distributing it to coaches at the start of the season and ensuring it is returned and stored at the end of the season.
- write submissions to EACCA website and newsletter before each of the fall and spring seasons.
- Generate an annual budget.
Rink Coordinator
Co-ordinates operation and maintenance activities associated with the community rink located directly behind John.G. Egnatoff school. The co-ordinator will attend monthly board meetings and events contributing to discussion relating to community association initiatives.
Seasonal Duties
(Fall)
- maintain and prepare the rink facility in advance of the winter season
(Winter)
- flood rink surface once outdoor temperature is consistently -10C or lower
- try to establish and maintain an approximate overall ice thickness of 1.0”
- coordinate snow removal and occasional flood/scraping for casual community use during winter season
(Spring)
- provide rink budget input to EACCA Treasurer for annual budget cycle
(Summer)
- monitor rink facility occasionally in case of vandalism, coordinate repairs as needed
- it is encouraged that the coordinator will attend monthly EACCA meetings or events and contribute to discussion regarding community association initiatives
Soccer Equipment Manager
- Assist with the ordering of new sports equipment.- Help organize and maintain storage areas.
- Pack and distribute soccer team bags.
- Distribute equipment to various sport teams.
- Attend monthly board meetings.
The bulk of the time commitment is in the fall and spring with 10-20 hours worth of work for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
